Reading the site

You can read our articles without creating an account. When your browser requests a page, our hosting infrastructure processes technical information needed to deliver it, such as your IP address, the requested address, browser information and the time of the request. Hosting and security services may maintain operational logs to troubleshoot problems and protect the site.

Contact messages

The contact form asks for an email address and a message. A name or nickname is optional. These details are saved in a private WordPress inbox accessible to the site administrator, so the enquiry can be reviewed and answered. They are not published as comments or displayed to other visitors. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to a mailing list.

Please provide only information relevant to your enquiry. Do not include payment card details, passwords or identity documents. You may use the contact form to ask about, correct or request deletion of information you previously submitted. Include enough context to locate the message. A request may require reasonable verification before information is disclosed or changed.

If you email us directly, your message and email address are processed and stored by Hostinger Email so we can manage and reply to your enquiry. Email correspondence is not published on the site.

Spam prevention and storage

To limit repeated submissions, the form uses a short-lived hashed identifier derived from the connection IP address. This rate-limit record expires after five minutes. The original IP address is not included in the contact message stored by the form. Technical hosting logs are separate from this record.

Contact messages remain in the private inbox until the administrator deletes them. Information needed to resolve an ongoing enquiry, protect the site or meet applicable obligations may need to be retained. Hosting backups may retain a copy for their normal backup cycle.

Cookies and site functionality

WordPress uses cookies for administrator sign-in and related security functions. The public reading pages and our contact form do not require a visitor account. The contact form uses a security token to help validate submissions. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, although blocking some cookies can affect sign-in functions.

Google AdSense and advertising choices

We use Google AdSense to prepare this site for advertising. The AdSense advertising code loads only on public, published article pages with text content. It does not load on our homepage, information pages, search results, category or other archive pages, or error pages. On eligible article pages, the code connects your browser to Google and may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, and the page requested. Whether advertisements are displayed depends on Google’s approval of the site and our advertising settings.

Google and other advertising vendors may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads based on visits to this website or other websites. Google advertising cookies can support personalized advertising. The use of these technologies and the ads available to you depend on your location, applicable requirements and the choices you make.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we have configured Google’s consent management message with options to consent, decline consent or manage individual choices. The message explains the purposes and advertising partners involved. When the message is available, you can revisit your decision using the privacy and cookie settings link at the bottom of a reading page. Consent is optional, and you can change or withdraw it. This privacy page does not load the AdSense advertising or consent-message scripts.

You can also review personalized advertising preferences in Google My Ad Center, use your browser’s cookie controls, and read how Google uses information from partner sites. For information about participating third-party advertising vendors and opt-out choices, visit YourAdChoices. These controls have different scopes; changing one does not necessarily change every browser or provider setting.

Google Analytics tracking is not enabled on this site. We will update this notice if our analytics practices change.

Hosting and external links

The site uses Hostinger hosting and WordPress. Service providers process the technical information necessary to operate their services under their own terms and privacy practices. Our articles also link to publishers, studios and other external resources. Following a link takes you to a service with its own privacy notice. We do not control how that service handles your information.

Your choices and updates

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict certain uses of your information, or to raise a concern with a relevant privacy authority. Send requests through the contact form. We will update this page when the site’s information-handling practices change.
